Nikki Coleman-Gosser

Nikki graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics. After graduation, they worked as a research assistant in a cancer and development focused molecular genetics lab at The Ohio State University. To gain advocacy experience, they volunteered as a Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line and later became Adult Mental Health First Aid certified. Nikki volunteered their time baking at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio, getting to know a few of the longer-term/repeat residents and helping them de-stress after a long day. To gain an understanding of the genetic counseling profession, they shadowed and conducted informational interviews with genetic counselors. In their free time, Nikki likes to bake; craft; hike; and spend time with friends, family, and their cat.
