How the human body works in various circumstances and how it has been reshaped by the discovery of various drugs always fascinates me. Throughout my graduate and undergraduate studies, I came across different aspects of biological science which gradually solidified my interest in genetics. Until now my research experience has been on mitochondrial molecular genetics and its role on species conservation. I am looking forward to pursuing my Ph.D. where I can excel through rigorous training. I know the high-quality research facility of the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program at CMMG will be a perfect fit for me to gain advanced research skills which will build the foundation to be a successful and leading researcher in life sciences.
