- B.S. in Biology from Wayne State University
- Currently a first-year student in MGG MS program
I am a master's student in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program at Wayne State University School of Medicine. My research focuses on studying gene regulation and protein-protein interactions using the yeast two-hybrid system. I aim to uncover critical insights into regulatory pathways that influence cellular function and contribute to human disease.
Soon, I will begin working at the Veterans Affairs Research and Development Center at the Detroit Veterans Hospital, where I plan to bridge my academic research with practical applications in healthcare. My passion for research stems from a deep belief that knowledge has the power to drive innovation in medicine, particularly in the development of new therapies for chronic diseases. I am eager to contribute to the scientific community and collaborate on projects that enhance our understanding of genetics and its impact on human health.
