Dear Prospective Student,

If you are a college sophomore or junior interested in a career in Life Sciences research, our Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics at Wayne State University School of Medicine has an exciting summer research opportunity for you. You can be involved in a fascinating research project in this 10-week program and at the end of the summer present your research findings to other students and our faculty. You will also receive a stipend of $2,500.

Our faculty engage in many different types of research projects related to cell cycle regulation, computational biology, neuroscience, evolutionary genetics, genetics of cardiovascular diseases and mitochondrial genetics, just to mention a few.

The application deadline is March 15, 2025.  All applications must be received by this date.
