Claire Wilusz

Claire is from Beverly Hills, Michigan and graduated from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University with a degree in Human Biology in 2023. After graduating, she worked in various clinical roles including a genetic coordinator through Henry Ford Providence Hospitals. By contributing clinical and administrative support to clinic operations while learning about various genetic conditions in the oncology setting, she was able to deepen her understanding of the healthcare system and the basics of genetic counseling practice. She also volunteered as a crisis support line and a residential advocate at HAVEN, a domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, providing emotional support and key resources for survivors. In her free time Claire enjoys making pottery, knitting, listening to music, and gardening.
