Natalie Price

Natalie grew up in Lowell, MI and graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. After graduation, she decided to take a gap year to gain experience in the workforce and explore her interests in advocacy. She started out at Crisis Text Line and soon after she started working at Safe Haven Ministries, a domestic violence shelter in Grand Rapids, MI. Her role as a shelter assistant allowed her to support people face-to-face and impassioned her to pursue a career in counseling. This desire to work with members of the community combined with her longstanding interest in genetics and healthcare led her to Genetic Counseling. She learned about the field through shadowing, interviews, and online resources. In her free time, Natalie likes to read, write, and spend time with her three dogs.
