Allison Hartwick

Alli Hartwick grew up in Saginaw, MI and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Molecular Genetics/Genomics and Human Biology in 2021. During undergrad, she volunteered as a Peer Mental Health Advocate through Project LETS, helping connect other students to mental health resources. She also gained research experience working in the Department of Psychology investigating the genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors that play a role in mood and behavior. After graduation, she spent a year as a Genetic Counseling Assistant at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, acquiring clinical knowledge about the genetic counseling profession. In her free time, Alli enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, going up north, and cooking with friends.
