Quick Look

• Graduated with a BS from Jilin University in China
• Currently a seventh-year student in the PhD Program

As my current research centers on the study of genetics in Drosophila, the program here at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics allows me to hone my knowledge of modern molecular biology and genetics. By combining strong academic teaching with intensive hands-on laboratory training, the program here will equip me to pursue advanced research in the field.

Research Interests
Advisor: Dr. Russell L. Finley, Jr.
My current project is to characterize the function of a novel cyclin, Cyc39, in Drosophila.
